Newcastle Music Week – Supporting Portside Music Festival 2024

The Newcastle Tourism Industry Group (NTIG) is dedicated to strengthening Newcastle’s live music scene by supporting its members and local businesses within the Special Business Rate (SBR) precinct. With funding from the City of Newcastle through the SBR program, we invite you to join us in showcasing local talent by hosting a musician at your venue. This initiative offers financial support to help cover the costs of performances.

As part of this effort, Newcastle Music Week—backed by SBR funding and in the lead-up to the Portside Music Festival at The Station—calls on local businesses to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to host live music events between 16th and 20th December 2024. This is an exciting opportunity to celebrate Newcastle’s vibrant music scene while building momentum for the Portside Music Festival.
